Circles (Open Letter 2011)

Round and round. Same old circle. Not a different shape , not a different cut .. Just the same circle. Over and over again around and around in the same circle. How could it change if its that same circle. How could you look for something new when you know where the end will be. Its the same thing in a different way. Perhaps when the same thing keeps happening its time to find a new shape. I cant keep thinking there's another destination within this one shape. How could there be ? I love the circle dearly but how could i possibly change the direction its going. It belongs this way so i cant change a circle into a triangle. Only when the circle is ready to change will the lines change. Until then its used to the way it curves. You cant make a curve go straight. Thats just the road it has to take. You cant take everyone you love on your path with you. Its not the path God has for them. Learning to let go is one of the hardest and I'm learning that daily. My heart is so big and I'm so nice that sometimes in the middle of fixing someone else i forget to look out for me. You forget that fixing others can mean hurting yourself. And you think hey i'll take that for you .. But what's the point if there's no appreciation for it. Like i said i circle is a circle so why waste your time going round and round.

Im Letting Go. :) Ahhh

  2. This is a lesson I've learned with a friend recently. Its very sad to say we aren't as close as we were but I had to let them go to find me. I thank God for that. I thank God for you. I look up to you as a role model and respect your thoughts, your grind, and your positivity. Thank you.<3Monet

  3. The issue in a nutshell is.......YOU CAN NOT FIX ANYONE!! The "fixing" you speak of takes place within a person & is between that person & God Almighty! Once you accept that FACT....you will step outside the "Circle" into this big beautiful sphere of a world. Stay up & be blessed beauty!

  6. SO TRUE! I had to tweet your quote "You cant take everyone you love on your path with you. Its not the path God has for them"
I learned from a broken heart and even some friendships had to be re-evaluated but I thank God for the lesson.

sometimes you just have to let ppl go in life- you can hope that the cheater will change- but YOU can't change him...

  9. That is what spring cleaning is for starting something fresh. Circle are never good because you get the same results and see the same pattern while going around. So do it out of fear of change, other just choose to adapt to the situation.

  11. Life is a cycle that works as the shape of a circle. As the globe goes round and round passing each point in its daily orbit, life does the same with daily repetition. Every day consists of 24 hours with equal balance of brightness from the sun, and moonlight of night skies. There are the same amount of minutes in an hour and hours in a day. Everything occurs with a circling rhythm of repetition.

A circle has no unexpected changes or turning points. It simply goes round and round at the same angles. The circumference of a circle never changes no matter the size of the circle. Circles are symbolic of our lives as a pattern of familiarity that never changes.

The pattern and structure of our lives never changes. We are built with character and personality that is unique to the world. Our daily habits may change however our values and personal attributes stay the same, as they are the foundation of our spiritual identity.

The direction of our lives like circles never changes.  We are always moving forward. While we have memories of our past, life is not lived in reverse, we only progress In one direction and that is towards our future. While we can't change the shape of our lives, there are things that affect the way we live our lives.

We have the ability to slow the pace in which we live life. While there is the same amount of time each day provides, how we spend our time determines how fulfilling life is to us. Taking the time to enjoy the simple blessings of life which are often overlooked enables us the ability to enjoy each passing moment. Each moment in life is a priceless treasure. While we can lose relationships and materialistic things, our memories last forever and can never be taken from us.

The size of our circle expands and shrinks by the amount of love we carry for ourselves and others. Our lives are circles and theres no denying that, our shape will never change. However, we can change what's within our circle. How we see the world is the value found within our circles. Having love for ourselves enables our circles to grow to extend our reach to others. The more love we have for ourselves the bigger our circles become and the more influence and impact we have on others lives. The circle of life never changes, it is the impact size of the circle and value within which makes it special to the world.
