Letting Go

You only live once. Recently i've seriously have seen that life is what you make of it. Its so important to be living for yourself. Just making sure you do the smallest things in life that make you happy. Lately i feel so much more empowered to do these things. Being a single woman has empowered me to really do more of the things that I want to do. Its really important not to let people make up your mind for you. As young ladies please make sure that you are doing what you want to do. If your in relationships , don't let a man your with make these choices for you. Beauty is skin deep. I want to stress that you should never stay somewhere that you feel mentally abused. A mental beat down can stay with you for a life time. Don't let anyone make you feel like you aren't good enough. You are beautiful. Today let letting go be your motto. Don't let anyone make you feel like you aren't good enough. Loving yourself comes before any relationship.  Life's too short to have silly worries. Arguments , fusing , and fighting can only lead to a stressful life. So if that what your doing everyday , its times for you to find a new path in life. Check yourself today. Fix what's not right. Yesterday i decided to dye my hair blonde. That was a BIG step for me. I've been told by many people/boyfriends not to do it. But I decided that this is what Angela Simmons wants to do. So guess what ? I did it. And i couldn't  be happier. I feel free. My biggest thing for this week will be letting go. Let that be your motto for this week and see where it gets you. Well I love you guys.
Live. Love. laugh

I've been wanting to for years & never did because people have always told me "no don't do it", "it won't look good", "your trying to be Beyonce" and ec cetra ec cetra. Now I'm really doing it. Thanks for the inspiration=)

  9. I recently went blonde.

I have a mohawk and have been contemplating whether or not I should go with it for a while. Some friends said yea, some said :-/ ..and the guy I was dealing with could never give it to me straight so I took that as a no as well. BUT luckily for me, I've always been strong minded. I make my own decisions and I decided, two weeks ago to do it. I fell in love. Best hair color YET. & I can't wait for summer to come so my skin can get all bronzy ;) ..can you say hot tamali!?

    Love ya!

  10. Nothings wrong with doing what makes you happy. God allows everyone free will and it's their choice that can make them happy or break them. Never listen to what others tell you what to do. Do whats best for self and others will eventually get the picture. My grandmother said to love yourself first and always take care of self first!

  13. You are so on point. October of last year I decided to do the same. I love helping and sharing with others, but felt I was always putting myself last. This, sometimes, led to me not doing for myself at all. I have now begun to do even the smallest things for myself, too, in addition to doing for others. For example, I just had my first hair color experience, too! Yeah for me!  I was nervous, but I did it and I love it. My hair is now a brick red or burgundy color. It looks great and it’s fun. As always, keep growing! You are doing a wonderful job. Have a great week! ~Marlyn~

  17. I agree. I find myself always being bothered by what others have to say that it brings me to tears sometimes. I have to start living for me and not care what anyone else has to say.

Love the hair it looks good on you

  20. I can really relate to this blog. It took me a long time to realize what mattered and what didn't. I am a 24 year old female who has let a lot of opportunities pass me by because of being in relationships that now weren't anything but a learning experience. I have made lists of things that I want to achieve or either try in my life and really didn't want to act on it because I was so worried about whos phone call I was going to miss. It took awhile but now I realize that when the time comes God will send me somebody worth my time but as for now I need to focus on me and what I want to accomplish. Its good to know I'm not the only person riding this boat. Thanks!

One day I just decided to do it, I felt sooo free and everyone including the exes loved it. I do miss my hair tho, but great advice
